Great news for fans of the popular Spice and Wolf light novel series! A brand-new anime adaptation, called “Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf,” is set to start airing this April!
To make the announcement even more special, a cool New Year-themed picture featuring the lively character Holo was shared.
The show will be directed by Takeo Takahashi and Hijiri Sanpei at Passione. Fans will be happy to know that Jun Fukuyama and Ami Koshimizu will be back to voice the main characters, Kraft Lawrence and Holo.
The original story, written by Isuna Hasekura, was first turned into a TV anime in 2008. It became so popular that it got a second season in 2009, as well as game and manga adaptations.
The story is about Kraft Lawrence, a young merchant who travels around a lot. He ends up with an unusual friend – a wolf goddess named Holo. She wants to explore the world because she’s disappointed with the town she used to bless.
Make sure to mark your calendars! “Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf” will be on air starting April 2024.
